Football line-ups for your broadcast

Prepare the match squad and the starting eleven of every match ahead of time. They appear on your OBS broadcast with the formation on the pitch, the substitutes and the coach, and also on the public match page.

Each player’s name is optional. Preparing and previewing doesn’t use up a match.

Prepare the match in 7 steps

Seven steps, from the details to the broadcast. Every change saves itself: there is no save button. And preparing or previewing doesn’t use up a match.

  • In advance: no match is used until you press “Start production” for the first time.
  • No extra typing: the players come from the team’s squad and the opponent is saved in your list of opponents.
  • Duplicating a match copies its details: you only choose the date.

Match squad and starting eleven, with shortcuts

Up to 100 players per team, with shirt numbers from 0 to 999 and an optional name. To move faster, use shortcuts that spare you the typing.

  • Starts from the team’s squad

Every match starts with the match squad copied from the team’s squad. Your changes in the match don’t touch it, and you can save them to the squad if you want.

    All plans
  • Optional name

The shirt number is enough. You add the name only if you want it on screen.

    All plans
  • Shortcuts to save time

Create shirt numbers 1 to 11 with one tap, paste a list from a message or a spreadsheet (the first 11 lines become starters) and add the bench, shirt numbers 12 to 18.

    All plans
  • Starting eleven and formation

You mark the 11 starters and choose one of the 9 formations, or show them as a list.

    All plans
  • Coach

Optional. Shown in the line-up on the graphics and on the public page.

    All plans
  • Opponent with shirt numbers only

For the other team, shirt numbers are enough: you don’t need to know their names.

LIVE · WHO SCORED?
From preparation to the live match

What you prepare is what you pick during the match

When someone scores, you choose the scorer by shirt number or by name, no keyboard. The players you called up are the ones that show in the control, on the pitch and among the substitutes.

  • Shirt numbers without names work just as well: one tap creates the shirt numbers and you can start recording.
  • Anyone not called up doesn’t show on the pitch, among the substitutes or in the images.

How it looks on screen

On the pitch or as a list

With all 11 starters placed, the line-up shows on the pitch, with its formation. If any starter isn’t placed yet, or if you choose “List”, it shows as a list titled “Starting XI”.

ON THE PITCH · WITH FORMATION
Ribera FC line-up placed on the pitch in a 4-3-3, with substitutes and coach

With formation

  • One of the 9 formations, with each player in position.
  • Placing them is tapping a position and then a player.
AS A LIST · STARTING XI
Ribera FC line-up as a list, titled Starting XI, with the substitutes and the coach

As a list

  • Starters by shirt number, with the substitutes and the coach.
  • With no formation chosen or fewer than 11 placed, it shows this way automatically.
NO NAMES · SHIRT NUMBERS ONLY

Minors and privacy

No names, if you prefer

If minors play at your club, their names don’t have to show. Each player’s name is optional and the line-up reads just as well with the shirt number alone.

  • Without names, the pitch shows the shirt numbers. The substitutes show next to it, by number too; with no substitutes, the pitch is centered.
  • Public team squads are off by default: the club turns them on and, when it does, gets a notice about minors.
  • The opponent is entered with shirt numbers only, so there are no names from the other team.

Colors and crests

Your team colors are free on every plan. Your crest on the scoreboard and your own look come with Match Pass.

  • Team colors, free: 10 named colors (blue, sky blue, green, maroon, purple, orange, yellow, white, red and black) or the hex code you type. They color the scoreboard bars.
  • Crests and logos in PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG. They are prepared in your browser, and until you upload one, the initials are used.
  • Your own look, from Match Pass: accent color and text color, typeface, crest or logo on the scoreboard, and hashtag.

On the Free plan you can try your club’s look in the preview. It doesn’t appear in OBS until the match has a Match Pass or a plan.

The look comes from the club

You set the look once in the club and change only what is different in a particular match.

Questions about line-ups

What people often ask us

Do I have to type in the players’ names?

No. The name is optional: the shirt number is enough, and during the match you choose the scorer by shirt number, no keyboard. Only the season’s player highlights need players with names in the squad.

How many players can I add?

Up to 100 per team, with shirt numbers from 0 to 999. To save time, you can create shirt numbers 1 to 11 with one tap, paste a list copied from a message or a spreadsheet, or add the bench, shirt numbers 12 to 18.

What happens if I haven’t placed all eleven?

The line-up shows as a list, titled “Starting XI”, instead of on the pitch. As soon as you place the 11 starters and choose a formation, it shows on the pitch.

Can I prepare the match in advance?

Yes. Preparing and previewing doesn’t use up a match, and your changes save by themselves. What uses a welcome match or a Match Pass is pressing “Start production” for the first time.

What about the opponent’s line-up?

For the opponent, shirt numbers are enough, and they are saved only in that match. That way you have both teams on screen without needing the other team’s names.
